CompanyVoice has announced the appointment of David Nicosia to the newly created post of Senior Vice President, Head of Business Development.

In his career, Nicosia has worked at Maryland Capital Management as Senior Vice President and Head of Institutional Sales, leading the firm's sales and marketing functions. Prior to that, he was Senior Director at Advanced Investment Partners, a majority-owned affiliate of State Street Global Advisors, where he oversaw Northeast client service and marketing. He also previously served as Vice President with Old Mutual Asset Management and its affiliate, Pilgrim Baxter & Associates.

Nicosia earned an MBA from the Richard J. Bolte, Sr. School of Business at Mount Saint Mary's University. He also holds a bachelor's degree in rhetoric from Mount Saint Mary's.
