5/10/17

TREVOSE, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Forum for Expatriate Management (FEM) Americas 2017 Expatriate Management & Mobility Awards (EMMAs) were announced on Thursday, May 4, and International SOS took home top honors in the following four categories: Best Use of Data Analytics within Global Mobility; Most Innovative Use of Technology in Global Mobility - Assignee Management; Thought Leadership – Best Survey or Research Study of the Year, and International Healthcare and Risk Management Provider of the Year. The EMMAs were announced at theFEM Americas gala dinner at the Denver City Center Marriott in Denver, Colorado.

The FEM EMMAs are the premier awards for the global mobility and human resources industry. The EMMAs awards dinner followed a highly successful two-day Summit attended by over 200 key figures, leaders and companies who all gathered to celebrate the best and brightest in the Americas.

“The FEM EMMAs really are the gold standard awards for the global mobility and international HR industry, said Claire Tennant-Scull, Head of Content at FEM. “They are the only truly global, yet region-specific awards with the greatest breadth of categories. It’s wonderful to see how much these accolades mean to everyone here – it’s really important to receive recognition among your peers for innovation and hard work.”

Now, in its 8th year, the FEM EMMAs are judged by an independent panel composed of industry experts. The Judges remarked on the high standard of entries they saw across 24 categories, including some that were new for 2017.

Judged against a strict set of criteria, the competition for the awards was fierce. The panel of highly respected industry judges commented on International SOS’s entries:

“There is no question - mitigating travel, health and security risks for the mobile workforce is the best use of data analytics. International SOS is a clear winner.”

“International SOS continues to provide a comprehensive set of services to employers and travelers. Their combination of knowledge, prevention, and solutions for incidents is invaluable.”

“The ISOS 2016 Travel Risk Map and the associated white paper are essential for ANY program serious about sending employees into foreign countries to work.”
