Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP opened a Bucks County, Pa., office, located at 43 S. Main Street in Doylestown. The office is part of the firm’s expansion plans and was opened to service Obermayer’s clients in Bucks County.

“With a significant client base in the Bucks County area, we saw a need for a physical office,” said Obermayer Managing Partner Mathieu Shapiro. “The impetus of Former U.S. Rep. Mike Fitzpatrick joining the firm in January prompted us to look more closely at the County and our client needs. We think he is the right man to lead the expansion of the office.”

Obermayer has an expanding client base in Bucks County, as well as a number of attorneys who hail from – and have close ties to – the area.

“The legal community in Bucks County is an outstanding one,” said Fitzpatrick. “I’ve spent most of my career there, and am proud to be opening the firm’s office in such a vibrant and thriving community.”

Fitzpatrick joined the firm as a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department, initially based in Philadelphia. He will now split time between the Philadelphia and Doylestown offices, as will an associate starting next week. Obermayer currently has offices in Philadelphia; Pittsburgh; Conshohocken, Pa.; Harrisburg; Cherry, NJ; Wilmington, Del.; and New York, NY.
