Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS) today announced that Scaled Agile, Inc. (SAI) has named Unisys as a Scaled Agile Gold SPCT Partner. Unisys becomes one of only 18 of SAI's 119 partners to achieve that distinction.
Already an SAI Gold Partner at the corporate level, Unisys attained Gold SPCT Partner status with the certification of Unisys Application Services consultant Hazurasingh Siviya as SPCT4. The SPCT4 designation recognizes individuals who demonstrate superior knowledge, competency and in-depth field experience in adopting agile across an enterprise with the Scaled Agile Framework®.
Enterprise-scale agility – the capability to deploy applications quickly throughout an organization – is increasingly key for enabling pervasive adoption of digital business models.
"Working with best-in-class SPCT partners like Unisys represents our commitment to helping software- and systems-dependent enterprises improve time-to-market, quality and employee engagement," said Dean Leffingwell, Scaled Agile's chief methodologist and creator of SAFe. "By incorporating SAFe into its solution offering, Unisys is enabling the world's largest organizations to become more agile in the marketplace and more competitive in their industry."
Outsourcing research and analysis firm NelsonHall has named Unisys a Leader in the recently published NelsonHall Vendor Evaluation and Assessment Tool (NEAT) report on Application Outsourcing.
"We are excited to earn certification as an SAI Gold SPCT Partner," said Bob West, vice president, Global Application Services, Unisys. "Not only can Unisys transform clients' application environment to help them achieve their digital business objectives, but we can also train a new generation of internal change agents who will drive further transformation to seize their enterprises' continually emerging digital-business opportunities."
