4/26/17

Hamburg Rubin Mullin Maxwell & Lupin recently hosted a program entitled “Anatomy of a Commercial Real Estate Transaction” for members of the local business community.

The interactive seminar was presented by attorneys Merle Ochrach, Carl Weiner, and John Walko, and included discussion of:

- the pros and cons of letters of intent

- key issues to address in the negotiation of commercial agreements of sale, and

- how to navigate and maximize the due diligence period.

Attendees were taken from the start of a commercial or land acquisition deal through the due diligence period. In addition to the legal issues involved, attendees were provided with practical and experiential advice for maneuvering through the commercial real estate transaction process.
