Gina Rubel to serve on board of association of women-lawyer owned businesses helping to “connect and advance women entrepreneurs in the law” around the United States

Gina Rubel, CEO of Furia Rubel Communications, Inc. in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, has been appointed to serve on the board of directors of Women Owned Law, the nation’s first organization devoted exclusively to women legal entrepreneurs. Rubel is a founding member of the association which was formally launched in February 2017 at its board meeting and founders’ dinner in Philadelphia. She also serves in an advisory capacity on the communications committee.

“I am proud and pleased that in just a few short months, this dynamic group of women has come together to launch Women Owned Law. Our national nonprofit association is already vibrant and growing with the support of brilliant women who are leading the way as entrepreneurs in the legal community,” said Nicole Galli, the founder of Women Owned Law.

Women Owned Law was conceived as a national organization for women owned law and legal services firms to provide a forum for networking opportunities, to increase visibility and media coverage of women entrepreneurs in the law, to help interested firms grow into larger organizations with significant influence in the legal industry, and to provide an “on ramp” for women considering their own legal ventures.

“I am truly honored to be a part of this organization’s creation and growth. It is a pleasure to work with dynamic and spirited leadership to help guide the organization in its mission to provide opportunities for women who are taking the lead in both business and law,” said Rubel.

Rubel is a lawyer and entrepreneur. She founded Furia Rubel Communications, Inc., in 2002. The agency has been listed as the No. 1 legal marketing and public relations agency by The Legal Intelligencer every year since 2010 and by the New Jersey Law Journal in 2015. It has also ranked No. 1 in the National Law Journals’ list of branding and legal marketing firms and among the top three agencies in legal marketing and branding, social media and crisis management. In addition, Rubel has been named a Woman of Distinction by The Legal Intelligencer and Philadelphia Business Journal and has been included among Pennsylvania’s Best 50 Women in Business and SmartCEO magazine’s Brava Award winners. She is the proud recipient of the Doylestown Rotary Four-Way Test Award, The Justinian Society Lisa A. Richette Woman in Law Award, and the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Woman in Business Award.

Rubel is an active member of the American, Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Bar Associations, Legal Marketing Association, The Justinian Society (Past Chancellor), The Justinian Foundation (Secretary/Treasurer), Philadelphia Public Relations Association, and Public Relations Society of America. She is a graduate of Drexel University and Widener University School of Law.
