KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Recovery Centers of America (RCA), the fastest-growing provider of inpatient and outpatient drug and alcohol treatment programs in the United States, announced that it has appointed Rick Delgiorno as the organization’s Director of Alumni Relations today.

Delgiorno has more than 25 years of experience creating and managing volunteer networks, largely with institutions of higher education including Franklin & Marshall College, Dickinson College and Temple University. In addition to his education experience, Delgiorno spent the early part of his career in healthcare as a ground and flight paramedic.

In his new role at Recovery Centers of America, Delgiorno will lead a department of professionals who will engage alumni and their families in meaningful, community-focused programs to support those continuing on their recovery journeys.

“My passion has always been with keeping families and alumni connected to the organizations and programs that matter most to them,” Delgiorno said. “This is particularly critical to those wishing to achieve meaningful recovery and live the life of their dreams. Recovery Centers of America currently operates four five-star treatment centers based in New England, Maryland, and New Jersey, offering individualized treatment programs designed to keep patients close to home and the people who love and support them. The organization plans to open its first treatment center in Pennsylvania in the heart of the Main Line at the site of the former Devon Manor. Upon completion, the facility will offer 250 rehabilitation and detox beds, along with 42 sober living beds.

RCA’s alumni services will offer ongoing education, continuous support, opportunities to help others in recovery and assistance in family and employment resolutions. Alumni and their family members will also have the opportunity to mentor others in recovery and the early stages of their journey.
