Cohen & Grigsby, P.C. is pleased to announce that Andrew M. Paris has joined its Government Affairs group in its Harrisburg office as senior policy manager. He joins a team of senior practitioners who have served at various levels of local and state government and will focus on state lobbying efforts and advise clients on legislative issues.
Mr. Paris brings more than 10 years of experience in Pennsylvania government affairs to his new role with Cohen & Grigsby. Prior to joining Cohen & Grigsby, he founded and served as principal of Four Lights Research Solutions LLC, a consulting company based in Harrisburg. Mr. Paris also served Governor Tom Corbett's administration as executive deputy policy director, specializing in statewide policy matters such as correctional reform, gaming, liquor control and transportation.
Mr. Paris also formerly served as legislative liaison for the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General where he advanced the attorney general's legislative agenda by authoring and advocating for legislation pertaining to various criminal offenses, firearms, animal welfare and consumer protection.
Mr. Paris is also a trustee of Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, where he received a Bachelor of Science in public administration in 2002.
