PITTSBURGH & LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dick Jones Communications, a leading national communications firm with nearly three decades specializing in education, announced today that it is joining forces with Morrison & Tyson Communications, a move that bolsters their presence in the field and strengthens service and expertise to their clients nationwide.

“We are delighted to bring Morrison & Tyson into the family,” said Sean Rossall, managing partner and chief executive officer of Dick Jones Communications. “We share a sensibility and work ethic that will allow us to provide our clients outstanding resources, efficiency and responsiveness.”

Coming together under the Dick Jones Communications banner, the new firm will offer public relations counsel focused on higher education and K–12. “This partnership not only enhances our commitment to clients, it also brings together a group of professionals perfectly aligned and equipped to build upon the history and success of our firms,” Morrison & Tyson President Bill Tyson said.

Tyson will become president emeritus. Morrison & Tyson Senior Consultant Maggy Ralbovsky will assume an expanded leadership role as managing director and executive vice president of the new firm. Tyson and Ralbovsky will maintain an office in New England. Dick Jones Communications currently has offices in Pittsburgh and Los Angeles.

This new partnership brings together some 20 leading communications counselors.”

Each company represents nearly 30 years of providing strategic communications planning, national and regional media relations and crisis management to colleges, universities, foundations, research centers, K–12 systems and corporate clients. Their work advancing important issues and informed voices to deepen public discourse has been widely recognized.

Ralbovsky noted, “Clients can continue to expect exceptional work and commitment from all of us, with the added benefits of even more staff, resources and targeted expertise in areas such as national media relations, issues and crisis management and media training.”
